How to choose a proper typeface for body text in web design?

What should you consider when picking a typeface for continuous long reading body text in your web or app design? In this video I will show you some examples, tell you what body text is, explain if sans-serif and or serif fonts are better suited, and the concept of the x-height.

TL;DW: Pick a low-key text typeface that does not draw much attention to itself, sans-serif and serif fonts are both fine if they have distinct letter shapes, a larger x-height is better.
