My Transforma Font Review
This week’s pick is no ordinary typeface. Transforma is a captivating font family, that explores the artful combination of clean sans-serif characters with playful script shapes. Let’s discover bit by bit, how it can transform your text 😉.
First you have Transforma’s clean sans-serif style with striking characters like the lower case “g” and “f” and fascinating contrast in the Black weights. The playful Script style comes with its disconnected, curly characters. And the Mix style brings it all together.
In the Mix style, script characters are sprinkled in naturally, replacing about every fourth sans-serif letter. You can observe it in this short video. This way, it effortlessly adds an eye-catcher and a friendly touch to your typography. You can try this for yourself, because all three Medium weights are available for free. In my opinion, this weight strikes the perfect balance between robustness and elegance.
It’s also worth mentioning that Transfoma Sans is great for smaller sizes, thanks to its wide proportions and tall x-height. However, some characters stand out too much for extended reading, making it better suited for captivating headlines or shorter text. So try Transforma for creating eye-catching designs – it’s perfect for projects where personality matters.
